Louis ‘The Package’ Joseph exploded onto the MMA scene in March 2024 and has since amassed 4 wins – including the Element Fight Night Featherweight championship.

Joseph began training at the beginning of 2023 and credits spending hours in the gym to his rapid rise.

Element HQ Head Coach Matt ‘Fev’ Becker is praised by Joseph for giving him ‘opportunities which have allowed me to quit my full-time job and take my training more seriously’

The toughest task lies ahead for Louis, in the form of a championship fight against DFC Featherweight Champion Antonio Cesaro (6-3) on Sunday the 5th of October.

Fireworks are always expected with Joseph in the cage; KO power, submissions and intensity are staples of his game.

‘Expect to see a lot of the same’ Joseph said when asked about this matchup.

‘I’ve spent a lot of time sharpening my game and feel more comfortable every time I get in there.’

Currently in camp preparing for the fight, Louis is ‘practically living in the gym’, with a focus on ‘specifying my training’ and ‘dialling in my nutrition and cardio.’

Joseph says this camp is made easier going through it with teammate Jacob ‘The Hog’ Desmond.

‘He always brings the energy and knows how to lift spirits.’ Joseph said when asked about Desmond.

Desmond is also preparing for a title fight of his own, the DFC Welterweight Championship.

The undefeated featherweight continues to learn from each fight and camp.

‘I feel like I’m at a point where I’ve turned every stone in terms of preparation.’

The EFN Featherweight Champion says he is ‘comfortable to stick with a gameplan and execute it.’

Joseph is ‘pumped’ for his upcoming matchup with Cesaro – whom he is a ‘big fan of.’

‘I think I present some problems for him, I’m excited to see how he deals with them.’ Louis states.

Expect big things from this matchup – two proven warriors with the title on the line, this bout has MOTN potential.

All the best to Louis as he continues with his camp in preparation for October 5th.
